Hi,

I am using Melissa Data Quality Tools, I configured Name Object component in One of my SSIS package to parse the full name in to FirstName and LastName I am getting the error
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: An object or column name is missing or empty. For SELECT INTO statements, verify each column has a name. For other statements, look for empty alias names. Aliases defined as "" or [] are not allowed. Change the alias to a valid name.

Here I am providing the configuration steps which I followed for Name Object

1) Took OLE DB data source with FullName column
2) Connected to Melissa Data Name 2008
3) In Select columns tab I select Pass Throug check box for FullName column and in Name Type i select FullName
4)In Configuration Tab I provided the Connection Manager details
5)in Set Global Properties Tab I provided the mdName in Name Files, provided the DATA File path in Folder and provided the License code and did the Test Initialization and It gone through properly
6)Set Additional Properties Tab selected First Name Spelling Correction check box
7) Select Output Columns Tab I selected check boxes for FirstName, LastName and Change COde (default)

I set the destination tables

while executing It throwing th error at Melissa Data Name 2008 level

like an object or column missing

can you please help on this If i missed any thing on configuration process

Thanks in Advance

What build of the name object are you using? You can get the build number by right clicking on the dll and getting the version number. Also are you using our SQL sample code? If not can you try using our sample code with the link below to see if the error still occurs?
