Hi,

Which lookup function would be best to find out how many valid cities are there in a county.

I see there is a function to see what zip codes are valid per county. But what about a function to see what cities are valid per county.

Thanks.

There are 2 lookups that might be able to help you with this. The first one is our "County Maps" lookup. You can type in a county and it will give an outline on a map with the city names in the boundry. It will not list the cities but they can be seen within the boundry. The second lookup is the "County Places Map". Here is the description from the help file...

Displays county boundary map with a select city, town or county subdivision within the county map.

Description:
County Places includes cities, districts, villages, boroughs, barrios, townships and precincts. There are 38,670 County Subdivisons defined by the Bureau of the Census.

The data is provided by the Bureau of the Census, not USPS. It will list the cities, districts etc in alphabetical order.

Hope this helps.
