is there a search that offers a breakdown of county statisitcs such as population, age, average household size, income, etc., instead of having to locate each city within the county for the statistics? it's very time consuming to go in city by city to accumulate the county aggregate.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The only lookups we have available on our site regarding Demographic information are the Zip Code Demographics Lookup http://www.melissadata.com/lookups/zipdemo2000.asp and our US Demographics Lookup http://www.melissadata.com/lookups/demo2000.asp. I'm not aware of another site that has a lookup for what you are looking for. Maybe another forum member knows of one. I'm sorry I couldn't provide any info on this.
